We received a call from Fort Worth Animal Control on March 9. Would we come pick up a dog with an injured eye ASAP?  Not only was one eye out of the socket, but the other one looked awful as well. Our vet decided that the poor little guy was totally blind in both eyes due to lack of previous eye care,  and both eyes were removed. Alec is a happy boy, whose tail begins to wag as soon as he senses a human near him.  He is very good about following his human on a leash, and will stop if the leash is dropped. He is about 6 years old and he is a very sweet boy who deserves a happy forever home. Alec has black spots of fur over both eyes and therefore when his coat grows back, his eye loss will not be noticeable, and he will still be a handsome lad. We think he is handsome anyway

Alec is now in his foster home awaiting his forever home.
