AS many of you know, the adorable Lucky has a portal systemic liver shunt, which in laymen's terms means his blood vessels don't route properly through his liver so that his liver can properly cleanse the toxins from his blood. If Lucky doesn't have surgery to correct this problem, he will have a shortened life span.

Lucky will be having surgery today. Please send prayers and positive thoughts his way.  We hope today is Lucky's Lucky Day, and that his surgery is successful. This deserving little guy lives life to the fullest and deserves a chance to have a long and happy life in a forever home.
