Puppy Mill Shih Tzu "LOST BEN" Gets a Pawsh Makeover

AS if the adorable Ben wasn't cute before, he is down right stunning now. It is amazing to watch our puppy mill dogs change right before our eyes. It isn't only their looks that are changing either. They are making amazing strides in socialization. Every day another foster parent reports that their foster dog is now coming to them for affection, and also showing affection in return. With proper nutrition, they are putting on weight and their coats are getting shinier. Their individual personalities are beginning to sparkle as they discover a whole new world of toys, treats, and kind humans outside the puppy mill.
The years of living in a cage have taken a toll though. The muscles in Ben's feet are undeveloped from lack of use, and he refused to walk at first. However, his feet are improving each day as he learns how to run and play with his foster brother and buddy Mark McClune aka Lucky. Ben still doesn't want to walk on a leash, but his foster Mom is working with him a little bit at a time.
Stay tuned for more reports on the LOST dogs from the Montague County puppy mill seizure as the dogs continue to blossom. Could there be a special showing of the LOST dogs in the near future? Details coming soon!
