Due to the prediction of inclement weather, at the last minute, we canceled our participation at the Wild about Flower Mound Festival.... with some disappointment and a few misgivings, of course.  In hindsight, it couldn't have been a better decision for foster Tzu, Jared Leto, and his new family.

Related by Jared's foster Mom, Rita:  "Keith and Sue B. are such a neat couple and are really in love w/Jared Keith and Sue thought that they were coming to another rescue group's event with that group's application in hand. But, instead they found DFW Tzus...and Jared.   It was love at first sight, so much so that when Keith heard another possible applicant talk about Jared,  he slyly moved Jared away from her view;-)   Fortunately, we rec'd Keith and Sue's on-line app shortly after our adoption event, and could call the vet and references today.  Jane and I did the home visit and adoption early evening. When talking about showing up at the wrong group's review, Keith, with a broad smile, said that "it was meant to be".  Don & I sure miss the little guy, but we know that he is in a wonderful forever home."
