We have several special needs Shih Tzu and Lhasas who need forever homes of their own. They pawsitively deserve more love and attention than they can receive in foster care.  They deserve to be the center of attention rather than one of several foster dogs. If you have a big heart and are willing to give a little something extra to enhance the life of a special needs dog, then take a look at these very "special" dogs on our available dogs page: Starsky, Giselle(GiGi),  and Augustus(Gus).  Starsky and GiGi both have skin allergies and are on allergy shots and special diets. The shots are weekly and are simple to give just under the skin. They are not expensive. Gus has been with DFW Tzus the longest. He is a sweet laid back boy whose hair is a little more sparse than normal,,,just like some humans;-) He is on fish oil supplements and a good food. Gus may not be the most handsome dog on the block, but he is an easy, good boy who likes to "talk to you".  If you are one of those lucky humans who has been blessed with a happy home and comfortable life, won't you consider sharing it with one of our very special dogs.  They will be eternally grateful, and will bring you immeasurable joy!
